The Enso table, which derived its name from the Japanese word “circle”, is created as a poetic expression of the shape’s symbolic meaning rooted in Zen Buddhism. Enso’s designers from M2Atelier explain: “We have interpreted this concept of everything, meaning the universe, and nothing, meaning emptiness, with a sculptural and graceful object that seems to arise from a void to open up like a calla lily.” The table is available with an elliptical or round top.
